Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you use WordPlay Zone and how it is used.
We store site preferences in your browser’s local storage (for example language, theme, font size, and cookie consent choice). This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers as personal profile data.
We collect anonymous interaction data on our own infrastructure so we can see which features of WordPlay Zone are most popular — for example which games and word tools people play or use, which settings they choose, and whether rounds are completed — and use that to improve the site. This is feature-usage measurement, not advertising profiling.
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) for analytics. We do not store your name, email, IP address, account identifiers, analytics cookies, or game session identifiers, and we do not record the actual words or letters you enter. What we collect: which game or tool you use, coarse game settings you choose (such as word length or timer), whether a game ended in a win, loss, or timeout, coarse result counts (such as number of guesses or words found — not the words themselves), how long a round lasted in seconds, your dictionary language when you change it, an approximate device platform (Windows / macOS / Linux / iOS / Android), and the referring site (domain only).
Events are sent with a one-shot background request to infrastructure we operate. This is separate from Google AdSense advertising cookies and does not depend on advertising cookie consent.
We do not sell this data. Individual event rows are not published; we use aggregates to understand feature popularity and improve the site.
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, and (where permitted) personalize ads based on your activity on this site and other sites.
